More than anything, we wanted a quiet campsite for our next holiday in the Vendée. At 60, our aspirations are not the same as they were at 20. What we're looking for, above all, is a beautiful, relaxing setting.
Our friends had told us about Camping la Grisse, having been there last year. So we decided to look at this 3-star establishment. Imagining our stay there was easy because their website is very detailed.
So we have reserved two weeks at the end of June in this quiet campsite in the Vendée. Our choice of accommodation: a mobile home 30 m² including 2 bedrooms, a large, bright and spacious living room with a fitted kitchen, a bathroom with shower and toilet, a large outdoor terrace with garden furniture, and as a bonus an HD ready television (although we won't be turning it on very often).
We'll be able to sit back, listen to the birdsong, and set off to discover the Vendée. The pre-season is always great here with the micro-climate that the department has to offer. We saw that there are cycle paths starting from the campsite, so we'll be able to go for some nice rides.
We also have a project close to our hearts. Since coming in the Vendée is an immense pleasure every time, and that this quiet campsite is open all year round, we are strongly considering becoming the owners of a holiday home. That way, we'll be able to stay there whenever we like, and we'll both be able to come with our children and grandchildren, or with friends. And if we know we won't be going, we can rent it out to make it more profitable.
